Getting there (By bus, train/tram, car)
The RAILS conference will take place at St Mark’s National Theological Centre (15 Blackall Street, Barton ACT 2600). (See direction on Google Map). You can use Canberra transport journey planner to find out how to use public transport to make a trip in Canberra.

MyWay bus card
Canberra public transport uses a smartcard ticketing system (called MyWay) that is used to pay for bus travel. You can purchase your MyWay from a recharge agent, Access Canberra Service Centre, online or via phone. You can also pay for bus fares with cash.

By Car (and parking)
The street address is 15 Blackall Street, Barton. For parking, please note that only a limited number of parking spots are available on the campus (St Mark’s) for the participants, but there will be another conference on the campus during the same period and there will be a shortage of parking spots. If you are staying in any of the hotels listed above which are all in a walking distance, we recommend you walk to the venue. There are also car parks close to the venue such as the Wilson Parking lot on 48 Macquarie Street, from which you can walk to the venue.

If you still needed to use the CSU parking, enter via the first gate (closer to Kings Ave). If the boom gate is not open then press the intercom button at the gate to reach reception. Please do not park in the first parking lot, but proceed straight to the conference parking on the hillside.
